FlightMaster 7.6 Build 05

This is a minor bug fix:

- runway 'feathers' not aligned correctly when airport is selected

- airport icons not aligned correctly in all cases

These issues may not affect you, but if they do then you are recommended to download and install the latest versionFlightMaster Aviation GPS ChangeLog

Version 7.6:

IMPORTANT: Hard keys 1-4 are referred to as F1..F4. I.e. Command Popup = F1 =
Phone key on Treo, home key on T|X, Datebook on T3 etc...

- Track log is now in GPX format
- 'Mark' function will mark the cursor's current position, or your aircraft's
current position
- Tap on Map time field to select different time displays (same as HSI)
- Added zoom controls on screen, when in pan mode
- Fix for Palm E2 memory bug on FM start up
- Added 1nm and 0.5nm settings to HSI
- Map & HSI time, and HSI zoom settings remembered for next time
- 2 sets of VNAV settings remembered - one for enroute VNAV and the other for terminal waypoint VNAV.
- Added 1min + 5min markers to track line
- Uses smaller icons at 75nm or greater scale
- Added HSI to portrait mode of 320x480 screens, instead of GPS constellation
- Modified goto behaviour on map. If you have selected an airfield, the first
'Goto' press will create a single-leg flight plan to the waypoint. Subsequent
presses behave as before.
- Mag variation is now always calculated within FM, regardless of GPS receiver
outputting the MV data
- Changed update rate to every 2s on Flight Plan Page
- Added seconds to ETA on HSI
- Command popup has been redesigned to allow the 5-way navigator and buttons to
select commonly used functions.
- The F1..F4 keys can be used to select the buttons at the bottom of most
dialogs.
- To access the map configuration dialog, press F1 twice

Map Panning

- Press the centre button to enter one of the pan modes. Starts off at your
aircraft position, press centre again to pan through your waypoints using the
left/right keys on the 5-way, or press centre a 3rd time to return to your last
pan position.
- Use the 5-way keys to pan around the map.
- Press centre to leave pan mode.

Flight Planning on the Map

- Tap on the map to select a waypoint. If no waypoint is there, you will see the cursor instead.
- You can add the cursor position to your flight plan as if it were a normal
waypoint (using the existing TapPlan mechanism - i.e. just keep pressing F2.)
- FM displays distance and time to the cursor as if it were a selected
waypoint, you can use this to measure the distance to airspace boundaries.
- Tap in the information box to deselect the cursor/waypoint/airspace
- Use F1 then F2 to undo an edit you've just made
